Love Life. Be Curious. Keep Learning.

Spirals

How may we share our gifts with the world today? You may share your gifts with the world today by being a strong caregiver who knows in their heart that we are all children, we are all learning all the time, and it is in the perception of the learning in which we feel grounded, supported and loved. The how teaches us that we are a unified being of Oneness, that how we interact with each other is a reflection of how we interact with the parts of ourselves that we have the most difficulty with. Imagine yourself as a spiral spirally outwards from your belly button. That center part, the origin of the spiral, is the part of you that you know is pure and good and thoughtful and kind. This part that you perceive to be closest to your soul is the easiest for you to love. As you imagine the spiral expanding horizontally outwards from your center, think about the path as the path of your soul, and that the farther you get away from your center, the more unfamiliar or foreign these parts of your soul feel to you.

You perceive these parts to be less ‘you’ and more ‘other’. And sometimes it becomes more difficult to be loving and kind and thoughtful to these parts of you that you perceive to be less of your soul and more connected to others. Or sometimes this strangeness, these foreign seeming parts of you, are attractive to you because you perceive them from afar. You lust after the very own parts of yourself that seem so ‘other’ that they attract you with their mysterious and never before seen sentient being ness. Both of these perceptions are fine, meaningful experiences. But once you travel along this spiral into the far outer reaches of your soul’s parts, these are the parts that are most challenging to love, offer support, and unconditionally accept who they are, mostly because these parts are the parts we’ve pushed out into the far nether regions because of shame, injustices or co-dependencies within our own selfhood. Sometimes it is shocking to notice a tendency, or a part of yourself, that leaves a foul taste in your mouth or seems so foreign that you simply cannot believe this tendency or feeling to really be your own.

Oftentimes it is in the interactions or thoughts we have with other sentient beings that bring out these foul tasting residues, or even simply thoughts we have about ourselves. Whenever this occurs, consider letting these feelings ride out but also visualize the spiral of your soul in your mind. We are ever expanding our perceptions, our frame of mind, our ability to unconditionally love more and more of the Universe, which includes you, of course. The more our consciousness expands, the grander our spiral becomes, the farther the reach of this beautiful sacred geometric form of life. And each time our consciousness expands, the more parts of ourselves we allow ourselves to perceive, to notice, to remember that all of these parts have always been dear to our hearts and just as close to the center of our own spiral as the parts that we feel rock solid connected to.

For today, consider that this spiral is alive too, and that it has the ability to expand and contract. This is our free will. This is our free will to bring close all of our soul’s experiences or distance ourselves from what we choose not to see. This spiral of yours, of ours, is like the beating heart of the Universe, and is layered spiral upon spiral of others, like you, who are going through their own experience of expanding and contracting consciousness. Consider that all of our spirals are interacting with other spirals, and sometimes when your spiral’s far reaching region interacts with another’s center, it can be perceived as a clash of values, judgements or experiences. But, if you think about it from another perspective, your spiral’s center is another’s far reaching part, and it is simply the experience of differing perspectives that causes the experience of misunderstanding, foreignness or difficulty. We are all traveling along one beautiful larger spiral, and we simply need recognize that our travels will take us to places within our consciousness that will continually expand what we have considered ‘other’ and bring all parts of the Universe closer into our hearts. We are all Divine Loving Light. We are all Divine Loving Light. We are all Diving Loving Light. So be it.
