Threads

The whole world is your home. No matter where you land or spend time for a moment is alway your home. Everything is temporary and stability is only an illusion. We strive for the safety of stability but the only thing that really is constant is our shapeshifting ability to move about within the realms and exist simultaneously in many places at once. Grandmother Spider tells us that the webbing of life are the many trails that we take to find our center and that the webbing sometimes can appear like a tightrope when we are upon our tiny path that we are holding onto for dear life until we see that we can spread our wings and fly through the web to reach whichever center we choose. Only when we grasp so tightly to the spindly threads like we are on a tiny rope over a deep gorge do we not see that each tiny thread is connected, and that if we fall we will be caught gently by the next thread nearest. We will never fall off the edge because there is no edge, there are only more threads, more paths and more routes to explore. When we fall, we explore. When we are narrow minded or only can see straight ahead of us, we only have fear guiding us and we do not see the possibilities that are all around us in our multidimensional university of life. Sometimes this web of mine is portrayed in pictures as flat or two dimensional. This is perhaps true for some, but it is my intention that more wake up to the sight of this multidimensional web that is around you, always, in all directions, even within your very heart of hearts. The web of life is within you, around you, it is you. You are weaving the web of life with your choices, your actions, your thoughts, your intentions. So the next time you feel tightness within your chest and you are imagining yourself as holding onto a tightrope trying to cross a deep abyss and can only see the other side as the safe landing spot, close your eyes and let go. Let go of the duality. Let go of the ‘this is the only way’ mentality. Let go of the rope you are holding onto and let yourself be caught lovingly and joyfully by the webbing that is below you, around you and within you. You will be surprised by what opportunities await you when you let go and let yourself be held by the beautiful web of Life that surrounds you.
