Love Life. Be Curious. Keep Learning.

Resistance

You can be a more loving human by asking yourself questions throughout the day. Are my actions of the best intention? Are my thoughts projecting loving and supportive energy to myself and others? Are my steps gentle and free of judgement? There will be moments throughout the day that will challenge you as you ask these questions of yourself. Sometimes you will resist making the most loving decision. Sometimes you will judge yourself for not making the most loving choice. These are both learning tools to see how far along your path you have come. It is a continuous learning path of choosing love over anything else. Each thought, word and action can be filled with love if you choose it. We sometimes forget that we have tiny choices like this all day long. Be true to yourself and choose the thoughts, words and actions that are in alignment with your heart. When you start to feel resistance, check in with your heart and evaluate what is happening inside of your body. Is there trauma stored up somewhere that needs to be released before the loving thought or word or action can be carried out? Is there a memory that comes up that needs to be revisited and sent loving energy before anything further can proceed? When we feel resistant between our hearts, minds, and bodies, this is a signal that there is either trauma, fear, a memory or other energy lodged within us that might be ready to be released. This takes time. Allow the time to allow to softness of these energetic compactions to be breathed life into them and released when ready. There is no rushing of releasing trauma. There is no rushing of releasing fear. There is no rushing of releasing memories that do not serve us any longer and have us repeat patterns that we know are not the best for our souls. All will soften and release if given the time and the space. We can intentionally release these energies with our prayers and our rituals. Or we can allow them to soften and release with the Inner Knowingness that holding space with our heart’s for our own journey will also soften and release. There is no right path to this process. Sometimes our intellectual minds get in the way when we release these energies with our prayers and our rituals if our minds are the driving force of these prayers and rituals. If this is you, try and release these energies simply by noticing resistance, be it in your body or your mind, and taking moments when you can to breathe and place your hand on your heart, sending loving energy to whatever feeling, fear or memory. This could be a new practice that helps the intellectual practices too. There is no right way to do this. Being aware that we have patterns that distract us from living in our most loving way is the first step of awareness that there might be better patterns for us, or maybe we don’t want any patterns at all except for the sacred geometric patterns of our beautiful souls. It is a lot to gather and understand. Breathing is one of the best ways to notice where we are at. This is not new. But it is worth reminding us from time to time. Be the advocate for yourself today and celebrate each moment of resistance that you notice as an opportunity for growth. Each opportunity awaits you in becoming the most loving human you can be. So be it.
