Blessings

You can be a more loving human today by feeling the blessings you already have and knowing that blessings are coming your way with each breath. To be on this earth is a blessing. To have connections with others is a blessing. To be free to exist is a blessing. There are no blessings at a cost. Blessings are gifts from the universe freely available at all times, if one is looking, listening, and open to receiving. You are a blessing. Everyone is a blessing on this earth. We all bless each other when we are open to receiving and giving freely. To bless another is not transactional. To bless someone means giving freely without any expectations. To expect keeps us wanting, keeps us in a holding pattern that sets us up for disappointment. To employ our innocent eyes and see everything as a gift, we must forget our expectations, we must forget disappointment, we must leap into the unknown realm of living as if each day is our last, and really embracing each moment as a blessing, or a blessing in disguise. A blessing in disguise is a learning opportunity, a moment in which we pause to reflect on how we might be more willing, capable or accepting. These are not easy ideas for our egos to grapple with. These could be lifelong learning opportunities. Think macro and micro at all at once. Micro-be thankful for today. Macro- be open to the unknown, with an Inner Knowingness that the Universe wants us to succeed, just maybe in ways that are different from what we expect. Or the ways in which we expect it all to unfold. Let it all unfold and be surprised. Let the surprises be the blessings.
