Your love story

There is only Love to share. You think you share other things but truly when you share, you are sharing Love embodied in different forms. When you share an embrace, you share Love. When you share kind words, you are sharing Love. When you offer a hot meal to someone, you share Love in soup. The energetic sharing of Love is in all forms. There are so many ways to share Love. We can share Love with Mother Earth in the way that we tread lightly from our doorstep to our destination. We can share Love in the way that we appreciate the song of a bird we notice in a tree. Sharing Love can take the form of reading a news story and sending Love to those who are in need. It can be in big and little ways. We are always doing enough. We are always doing just the right amount. We are in service of others and ourselves when we can honor what we can do in this moment and feel that we are doing enough. When we feel overflowing in our hearts and can share Love because we feel filled up with the Love of the Universe, that is the time to share Love. There are moments when we have confusion, and we give love with expectations or we receive love and feel like we have obligations to give back in specific ways. When our hearts are full and our hearts are open, there are no expectations and no obligations. There is only the sharing of the frequency of the energy of Love. You may notice when you feel this energy when you place your hand on your heart and you think of someone or something or someplace that brings you joy when you think of them. This is not a new concept. In LovingKindness meditations, it is standard practice. When you think of this someone or something or someplace, there is no fear or danger or lack. It can be a child, a place you have visited, or even an animal that brings you joy. Feel what comes to your heart and your hand when you think about this person, place or thing. This is the energy of big Love, the love that doesn’t require anything at all. It just is. Because of our culture and our stories and our history, we have trouble living in this kind of Love. It is not dramatic or tragic, it just is. Start to rewrite your vision of Love in your life. How can you Be Love? How can you share Love? It is so much simpler than we have written it out to be.
