Respect

How can we guide our children to respect and honor the earth and respect the place where we live so that all can be well and contribute towards the longevity of the planet for ALL? Start by respecting the planet by respecting yourself. Start by respecting the planet by respecting your own body. Respect the planet, respect Nature by respecting yourself, as you are part of Nature. Can you respect your body more than you are now? Can you find a balance between resting and pushing yourself and knowing where your own boundaries are? All comes from the earth and all returns to the earth. We are all but temporary travelers here to enjoy and to learn and to make peace with ourselves here. The earth’s continents have not always been where they are now. There has been movement and there have been shake-ups and rivers have shifted course and whole mountains have sprung up where there were not mountains before. We are but temporary travelers on this beautifully alive planet. When we remind ourselves of this aliveness, we can remember to be present to all that is, to be present to the wisdom of Nature, to be present to the respect that Nature has for all creatures and all courses of actions. We are but temporary travelers here on this magnificent planet. Respecting how Nature moves and shifts and balances herself out is something we can all strive to understand more so that we may understand ourselves and respect ourselves more.
