Nest

We can be loving humans today by building our nests and inviting those we love to come be with us. We all need strong supportive nests that protect and us and keep us warm, inspire us and help us to recharge and restore. Our homes are a reflection of our inner world, and no matter where we build our homes, we do our best when we feel grounded and loved within them. What are three factors that allow you to feel grounded, loved and inspired? Take note and make small changes to achieve this. We make nests wherever we go, whether it be for work for the day, a weeklong trip, or an entire lifetime. Consider the importance of your nest in this moment, and also understand that everything changes and nothing is permanent.

Have you ever come upon an abandoned nest of a bird or animal? When you look closely, there can be all kinds of materials for the build. Natural materials like twigs and leaves, mud, human hair, even trash sometimes. There need not be judgment about how anyone builds their nest, so long as it’s a reflection of you and keeps you safe, loved and inspired.
