Unexpectations

Expectations are a tricky thing. One may have many, for themselves, others, a place, a relationship. Expectations are built on having an idea within our minds and anticipating that our experience will match that set of ideas.

This is great when everything matches up and there are no discrepancies between what our mind conjures up and how our experience unfolds.

However, there are so many ways in which expectations can become giant boulders in the way of experiencing some thing new, something unexpected, something that not your mind produced but the Universe presented and you were open to noticing.

The Universe is constantly presenting us with opportunities that help us to move into greater awareness and expanded consciousness. These little gems of experience may not be what we expect, and one could argue that the fastest path towards expansion could be the experiences we did not expect, did not want, and worked through difficulties that were very uncomfortable. Growth is not always a straight path upwards.

How about setting up some unexpectations? Opening up your field, your heart, and your energy towards experiences that truly serve your spiritual awakening, your growth mindset, your heart-centered journey?

Perhaps you will be led towards the magic of the unknown to be led towards experiences your mind has not yet imagined and yet your heart and soul have known all along.
