Paths
Being who we are is the best way to be a loving human. When we are authentic and kind, loving and full of joy, we can offer this to the world and make miracles happen. We are always doing our best, even when our best doesn’t look so good. We are always communicating at our near level, even when our communication looks like miscommunication. On our best path, we may stumble and fall, either hurting ourselves or other’s in the process. The awakened way forward is not to judge ourselves or others for the falls and stumbles and miscommunications, but to ask ourselves, how can this new awareness elevate my actions? How can I learn from the paths I have walked and how can I forge new paths, within myself? If a pattern in our lives keeps coming up to the surface that’s not serving us or others, perhaps it’s worth pausing and investigating. Perhaps it’s worth pausing and being still for a moment, a week, a year. How we move through life on our own best path is entirely up to us, we are the makers of our path. The way we lead ourselves smartly and kindly is through our hearts, through our compassionate intuition, through our awareness of where we have been and where we want to go.
Where we want to go is home, and home is different for each person. Our hearts are one place to call home, our families are one place to call home. Our love for ourselves and all beings here on earth is also home.
Choose your path, remember any troublesome shortcuts or dead-end side trails, follow your internal compass—your heart—and be present to all the loving support around you.
