Senses
All of our senses have a memory and a history all their own. Together the senses make up a multilayered history of who we are and what we are becoming. We are always becoming, we are always evolving, and we are always exactly where we ought to be right now in this moment.
Wishing we were someone else or someplace else pulls at the senses and creates a tug-of-war within ourselves, a restlessness that does not encourage peace or wellbeing. As a human we are wired to survive, to utilize our ancient recall to endure at all costs.
But for quite a few of us humans, we are not at the edge of survival and yet we act in ways that would suggest otherwise.
When we can be present with our senses, we can expand our awareness outside of our minds and invite peace within us. The distractedness of modern society encourages us to stay within a very small scope of our senses, which keeps us running circles within our heads without the freedom to enjoy what truly is right in front of us and all around us.
Let today be the first day of your experiment with inviting more in to experience. Let today inspire your presentness. Let today be full of new memory making moments that are full of the energy waiting to interact with you from all sources above, around and within.
